We have just returned from the most fabulous tour of Italy we could have asked for! Gianfranco Vastarini was our most gracious tour director and he made the tour one that we will never forget. I noticed that there were inquiries about Gianfranco on the bulletin board and let us say- you will be honored to have him in charge of your trip. Everything was taken care of to perfection and he always had a smile and an "Andiamo!" whenever we arrived at a new location. Our tour group was a wonderful group of the most amiable and fun people! We hope that some of our tour group friends will read this and contact us- we miss you! We must also say that Max, our fearless bus driver was a wonder. How he maneuvered through those tight streets was something to behold! For anyone who is considering touring with Insight to see Italy- we very highly recommend this tour. Hi Eileen and Marty, if you are still looking up posts this far after your tour - great you too are hooked like me! We also had Gianfranco as our TD, he was fantastic wasn't he. We just did our Grand Tour of Italy and Sicily with him in Sept 2008 which was absolutely fantastic, so the quality had certainly not subsided in any way. Our bus driver was Pepe, and clearly as good as your Max! Fantastic Italy!...what more can we say!! Debra and Lisa
