| In the afternoon on day seven we board our cruise ship the Cristal and set sail for Istanbul. We pass Gallipoli just after dawn, so not a lot of opportunity for photographs. Istanbul is a real surprise for us and we have added to our bucket list for further exploration. We visit the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Orient Express Station, Haghia Sophia, Spice and Grand Bazzar. Next we sail to Kusadasi or Cashadasi as it shall be forever known to us - you can haggle for great leather jackets, gold and genuine fake bags. We also visited Ancient Ephesus. |
