Hi all

We arrived home last night from our Classic tour. Absolutely wonderful! It was everything everyone said it would be. The only thing i didnt like was the Park Boscolo Hotel in Nice. It really is not up to Insights standard. Great location - I agree, but the rooms are no better then a 3rd class cabin in a caravan park. Insight really needs to look at improving the standard of accomodation in Nice.Every other Hotel was excellent...no complaints at all. The Pullman in Paris was more than we could have wished for. We had a room overlooking th Eiffle Tower. Beautiful!!

Now its time to plan the next trip before the post holiday blues set in Smiler

Jen- back from a very awesome European Classic.

Hi Jen (Wren)

It has been so long since I have been on this site, and see you have been and had a great time, sounds like you had a room like us in Paris Pullman, DIVINE !!!! I long to go back.
We had a wonderful front room in Park Boscolo, and found the meals and everything wonderful, maybe they have done up the front rooms and not back ones. Our view of the ocean was incredible. But their corridors were like hills up and down - strange!

Holiday blues was very real, took weeks to get over the fact that we were HOME and not travelling! I live thru the movies, we passed where they made the movie Chocolat in France and never tire of it, and my Shirley Valentine moment in Mykonos was incredible. I am still scrapping the first week, havnt left Greece yet. But am on a spring break from school, guess what I will be doing...

I am going to check for your tour tale, and hope to read and relive this incredible tour. It really is the best intro to Europe/Greece isnt it!

Hi to Yon Yon and Jan - good to know you are still around. Jan I am booked in for my knee op on Dec 1st, think I wore it out in Europe, its bone on bone now. mmm. But I had Europe and wouldnt miss a thing...

Bye all. Debra J.
