Can you buy the Visa when you arrive in Cairo? Anyone remember the amt for US?

Yes, you can buy it when you arrive and it is $15 USD.

Hi. we are Canadians entering Egypt on November 4th, how long does it take to get the visa and did the Insight Transfer wait for you? Would appreciate knowing...thanks! Nova Scotian

It was no more than 5 or 10 minutes. It helps to have the exact $$ but even that wasn't a big issue I don't think. There were three booths as I remember and it didn't take very long per booth. The guide even walked you through the process (and then waited for you to get the visa, go through immigration, get your luggage, etc). No worries at all.

Hi...thanks so much for ino Toddt. Can't understand why our travel agent is making it such a difficult and expensive process to get visa and said we should get it before we enter Egypt....you saved us a bundle!
