Hi all. I know from the postings you can get the visa at the airport but do you need anything other than your valid passport and the fee? For example we were given the application form with our tickets and it mentioned a photo. Do we need to fill in the application form and take it?

When I went to Egypt years ago, I had no idea a Visa was necessary. The guy that picked me up at the airport shuffled me over to a both, had me change some money and pay for the visa. It was so late at night, I honestly didn't know what it was all about. No one asked me for a spare picture. All they wanted to see was my passport.

As for the spare passport picture, it's a very good idea to take an extra set with you anyway along with a couple coloured photocopies of your passport. That way, if you lose your passport, it will be much easier to get a replacement.

When we went to Egypt in April 2008 all we needed was money and our passports - nothing else. The very helpful Insight Rep will do all the leg-work for you and in a twinkle you'll be past immigration and off on the holiday of your life. Enjoy.
