Buongiorno! My name is Barbara Tagliavento, and I will be showing to you my beautiful country in a few days. If there is anything you wish to know before you come, please drop me a line...and don't forget: shorts are ok for most of the trip BUT in many churches and some hotel restaurant; comfy shoes are mandatory, but the most important thing: bring your enthusiasm, your energy, your passion for a different culture and I'll make sure you'll love my beautiful Italy! I'm looking forward to seeing you soon!

Hi Barbara:

Are you are Tour Director for "Easy Pace Italy" commencing on September 21st? If so, I may have a question or two prior to our departure.

Sorry Rick, it's not me, but I might answer, maybe.
In any case, it's a beautiful tour, and September is perfect for visiting Italy

Have fun

Hi Barbara, when you mentioned you would be showing us your beautiful country, it sounded like you would be our TD, tell me what your role will be during this trip? A quick question: Do we need to pack sweaters and/or jackets for this time of year?

Hi Rick,

yes I will be a TD but on the highlights of Italy tour, starting the 20th of september.
In any case, I would suggest you do pack a sweater or two: the wheather has changed dramatically since yesterday, at the moment it is raining over almost all Italy. It should be ok by the end of the week, (so they say) but still early morning and evenings by now can be a little chilly. Bring your shorts, too, anyway, normally the south of Italy is wormer than the north. I would say...a bit of everything, the secret is to dress like an "onion": in layers. I hope it helps, and I'm sure you will enjoy your trip.
