Dear all!

I am glad to welcome you on another marvellous Insight Vacations adventure to the North of Europe and to the heart of Eastern Europe! My name is Maja Poljansek and I will be the Tour Director on this trip.

We will start our adventure on 30th of August in the capital of Germany, Berlin, and we will offer two complimentary transfers from Tegel airport to our hotel at 10:30am and 12:30pm. At times displayed just wait at the official meeting point close to the airport Information Desk and I will come and pick you up. If you miss the transfers you can take the taxi, which should cost somewhere in between 15 and 20 Euro. Upon arrival to the hotel look out for my welcome poster, which will give you information about the welcome meeting and other timings.

I am very excited to be able to show you some of my favourite places in Europe - I am sure you will love them too! Elegant and fresh Stockholm, modest and cosy Helsinki, mysterious Russia... So much history, beauty, contrasting cultures and differences is difficult to find on any tour. It will leave you with a "wow" on more than one occasion.

Of course you need a Russian visa which has to be done ahead of the tour and it's your own responsability. Make sure that you have it, and make a photocopy of your visa and personal data page in your passport for security reasons (it is good to have a copy of your credit cards too). Please, don't forget to bring a passport size photo of yourself (we need it for Belarus visa, which will be done by me on the go).
We will be travelling in September mostly and this is a month with very changeable weather, so get out your wet weather "gear", a jacket, but it might happen to have sunny, warm days too, so some light clothing should be packed as well. Layers type of clothing is a good solution.
