Hi Chris;
My wife Becky and I are looking forward to the tour. First time in Italy and 1st tour. We'll miss the opening night reception as we don't arrive in Rome until 6:30 pm so don't expect to reach hotel till much later. We're flying in from Panama (where we live) so flights were limited. What is the best way to let you know we've arrived and meet the group? Any idea of the size of the group? Doug Hill

Nice to hear from you and Becky, I am looking forward to the tour as well!
On day one, after our welcome drink and meeting, we will head into town for an optional dinner and illuminations tour and should be back at the hotel around 9:30pm. All going to plan I would think you will get into the hotel roughly around eight o'clock. So you will have time to refresh and get a bite to eat before we get back and I can meet with you then (or in the morning if you just want to rest).
I will write an information sheet and leave this with the hotel reception to give to you on your arrival, so you will be up with the play on what is going on for the first few days.
There will be plenty of time to get to know the group and enjoy their company as we travel and experience this wonderful land.
I don’t have any final numbers yet, however on the this tour the group size is never more than forty and the coach is very spacious even when it is full!

Doug you and Becky should have a wonderful time. I did this tour last year around the same time and had a wonderful time. I have fallen in love with Italy and her people. Have a wonderful time.
