Oh Noooo !! a true Jersey shore resident becoming a traitor and moving to FL.

Frankly, I don't blame you; as a life-long Jersey resident, I would probably not miss the traffic, the drivers, the cost of living, and, most of all, the snow shoveling ! I would miss, however, LBI, Sandy Hook, Cape May, Pt. Pleasant, The Wildwoods.

Thanks again for your thoughts....

Yes, I was very lucky in not having any internal injuries. Most of the daily pain is under control, yet sleeping is another matter. I have finally found a sleep position that makes it somewhat bearable. By placing a rolled up blanket between by left arm and rib cage, that pressure is alleviated as well (sleeping on Right side, of course.)

Also, was pleased to hear that our Tale worked to enhance your own tour of Italy. Thanks for those comments.

As you guessed, we do NOT miss the taxes and especially the Property Tax, Transfer Tax (1% of Gross) for selling, plus, the Penalty (additional) Transfer Tax (2% of Gross) for leaving NJ!! We miss walking to the boardwalk and listening to the wonderful waves crashing, etc., but it we'll get over it!
