I've been disappointed in my attempts to find things and to organize what I might find.

It also surprised me that many of the posts are outdated.

Some of the posts may be from some time ago but the information contained is still relevant and extremely useful to travellers. I;m interested in the quality of the information rather than its origin.

I'd like to be able to find who else is from my country, state or city. I haven't figured out a way to search the member directory.

Bulletin Boards are a little like public libraries: when someone reads a book in a library, you don't throw it out! Bulletin Boards have two aspects:

  1. a "real time" aspect where someone posts a message and others respond
  2. an "archival" aspect comprising the collected historical wisdom of thousands of past posts that may be searched using the search tool

The Member Directory does not have a search facility, only a sort facility. The Member List may be sorted in three different ways: by "Newest member", "Highest Karma level" and "Alphabetical".

It would probably help other members to identify where you are from if you added your country to your personal details. I have no idea where "KS" is.

I think it is Kansas, but I am Canadian, so I am not sure.

Hi John,

there have been a couple of recent posts by Insight Tour Directors introducing themselves and welcoming travellers on forthcoming tours:
I wonder if it would be worthwhile adding a new "Tour Director Introduction" forum into the WHAT’S HAPPENING AT INSIGHT VACATIONS? group of forums? This would make it much easier to find the posts in future.

Thank you for your suggestion.

I made these changes and have moved the above posts to the new 'Tour Director Introduction' section.

I will also advise our Tour Directors in case any more want to add posts to the board.
