1. My computer is set to automatically login when I access the BB from this puter.
2. I too often read tales, look at pics without commenting. Not sure if this is good form or not.
3. My TA told me that many TA's may be reluctant to recommend the BB as they are losing a lot of business to internet agents and a bb may serve to encourage that. I explained that while that subject is discussed, many other topics are discussed and ppl find the information helpful in making decisions about companies, tours, etc.

I'm sure they are, but I suspect that they are also losing out to other agents, possibly in other countries, who have an internet presence and offer discounts that the smaller companies cannot match.

We gave up on our local Insight agent after our first tour. Not surprising, considering the very few Thais who would opt for an English speaking tour, they had no idea what it was all about and we found ourselves holding their hand through the whole affair. Since then we have used a TA in the UK for both Insight and Trafalgar and have had wonderful service.

For other travelling, river cruises for example, we use a Canberra based TA.


When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable.

I have Travelled to various Countrys and have always been Greeted well By Customs and people I meet along the way.

I would reiterate earlier comments. I have travelled with Insight a number of times and was not aware of the BB at all. Certainly it was never mentioned by the TDs, so perhaps that needs to be rectified.
