We have had our trip scheduled for several months but have not heard anything directly from Insight Vacations. We are planning our trip June 3, 2005 for the Hightlihgts of Eastern Europe. When we will get something directly from Insight? We are anxious for this trip. Also we would like to know about the money exchange, as their are many different countries that are included in this trip. Do we just get the money for the first country of Austria?

Are there any events that require suit and tie?

What is the weather conditions for June?

We look forward to hearing from Insight soon.

Hi CLM,
You won't hear anything directly from Insight. Sometime between 2 to 4 weeks before departure, your TA should receive all the documentation from Insight and she/he will then pass it on to you.
I did this tour in late September 2002. I would just get some Euro. If you need to get the other currencies, there are exchange booths at the border crossings. Your TD will tell you approx how much to get at the time.
Suit & tie not required for anything, although having said that, some of the men who took the opera optional in Prague, fronted up in a jacket & tie, Some, not all.

It would be nice to know the optionals in advance. We're heading on the Country Roads of Scotland tour May 4 and would love to know! How does one plan? Confused

Here is a link to the Country Roads of Scotland Optionals for this tour on Insight's Australian website. For some reason, I couldn't find them on the Canadian site.

I have actually done some of these Optionals on a Highlights of Britain tour two years ago and enjoyed them all:

  • EDI01 SCOTTISH CABARET
  • BLA02 SHEEPDOG DEMONSTRATION
  • SKY01 ISLE TOUR
  • GLA03 GLASGOW DINNER
