can you please tell me if it is possible to make a 15-20 minute non sched. stop during the bus ride from one place to the next? example: the tour we are going on says that we just drive by Neuschwanstein Castle and we really want to stop even for a short time. Are the td and bus drivers flexible if everyone on the tour wants to stop? thank you , valerie

Unfortunately NO........they are generally tightly sticking to schedules that are set in concrete in my experience.

I hope that they would stop for a photo opportunity. On a tour we did a few years ago they stopped at two places for photos of the castle.

A stop of 20 minutes or so wouldn't be much use to you, the castle is a long way from the road and it is a steep walk.

When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable.

Good morning,
This is Steve F.
You will certainly get to stop with views of the castle so you can get some great photos.
Photo stops at places such as Neuschwanstein are an integral part of any tour and no TD would want you to miss them!
Ejoy your travels,
Steve
