On our last BB tour we voted for September but ended up going in August and that was because the cost of the hotels were going up in price.
Most of us voted for the 2010 BB tour for September so it will be interesting to see when the tour happens. Cats have you vote yet or are you waiting to see which tour is going? My self I am waiting to see if the tour will be extended as 15 days is too short for us. Tupps |

Thanks for the info on the BB last tour. We hope the BB tour is NOT in August as the last one was. Q: Is that the time when most of Europe is on holiday or vacation? As for voting on tours, I voted early, but I had a living cat at the time. Since then Whiskers, our "Little Guy", has died. If I voted again I would probably change my vote. Cat's Inheritance: We will now use it on travel in honor of our late cat, the "Little Guy" Whiskers! |

Cats I did read that you lost your dear pussy cat and I know how you are feeling especially if you have had it since it was a baby, we had to put our cat that we had for 18 years to sleep because she was too ill to be saved a couple of years back.
Well I am hoping the tour will go in September as August wont suit us and yes the Europeans do take their holidays in August so another reason to go in September. Well what ever happens I hope you are able to join us it would be nice meeting up with you and your wife after all these years. Tupps |

Like you, if the tour is in August, we would pass, as we would not want to be there with hundreds or thousands on holiday or vacation Cat's Inheritance: We will now use it on travel in honor of our late cat, the "Little Guy" Whiskers! |

Last year, with back to back cruises and then the BB tour, we were in Europe for all of August and never did we feel ourselves to be surrounded by hundreds or thousands on holiday or vacation. Then only thing we did notice was that Paris wan unusually quite which made it very easy to get around.
When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable. |

I think you'll find that there are always going to be hundreds or thousands holidaying in europe at any time Cats. Anyway the company of your BB "friends" should be enough!! Jim  |

Italy would certainly be chocka in August but the proposed Balkan/Dalmatia tour destinations are not as much tourist Meccas surely? Ok Dubrovnik yes.
August-October is not a particularly good time for us as it is calving time on the farm but no matter I'm busting to go whenever. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Bellbird, |

Just received an email from Insight about ordering the 2010 USA & Canada brochure, so does that mean we are getting closer to know whether Insight is going to come up with a new Itinerary for the Presidents Balkan Tour
 if not dates and prices. I know I would like to know fairly soon as other things are starting to pop up and we need to soon know what's going to happen. Tupps |

The topic: Members Tour - Itinerary, Prices & Booking Information was posted by Insight for the 2008 BB tour on August 29, 2007 which was about a 1.5 months prior to the publication of the 2008 European tour brochures. I doubt that that point will be reached any earlier this year and perhaps even later, given that there may need to be some major revisions of 2010 tour schedules to match the expected economic climate. phil This message has been edited. As for the tour, it seems that Insight has not posted an update in a long time.
I asked Insight for an update back in early May, but Insight has not posted anything. Nothing at all! My question for Insight in early May: "What and when is the 2010 tour? Anything for sure yet?" It is now July, 2009. We will not do an unknown tour with no information or reasonable updates. Count us out on this one!
