What and when is the 2010 tour? Anything for sure yet? Cat's Inheritance Cat's Inheritance: We will now use it on travel in honor of our late cat, the "Little Guy" Whiskers! |

According to President's Tour 2010 - itinerary poll:
 Once Insight close the above poll and specify the result of it, there will probably need to be a vote on whether to remain with the itinerary as previously specified or to lengthen it, followed by another poll on "WHEN?" Phil, don't forget your Tour Date Poll conducted last January which resulted in September being way in front of any other month with a popularity of 46%.

Hi Geoff,
unfortunately, the Tour Date Poll was conducted before Insight nominated the tour itinerary candidates for voting. It will therefore need to be conducted again focusing solely on the Balkans and Dalmatia tour, assuming that this will be the selected tour. phil |

phil" That is what I was thinking, after not seeing much tour feedback was being posted from Insight. I really wonder if there will be a tour in 2010, and if so, how many BB members will go for it in the final hour they say. Probably not enought to fill 40 seats on a coach, unless the world economy improves! It doesn't have to be 40 on the coach for the tour to run Cats. Last year's BB tour had around 27 of us.
Also, I assumed that Phil's comment about it not being high on Insight's list at the moment was on the basis of Insight being heavily committed at this stage of each year in preparing all of their "normal" tour details and brochures for the forthcoming year. Remember, it was August 2007 before Insight produced the itinerary for the 2008 BB tour and it was February 2008 for the Optionals list. |

We are still focused and commited to running a Bulletin Board tour in 2010. As Phil and Dragon have suggested our tour planners are in the middle of planning our brochure itineraries right now but we continue to read your ongoing comments and suggestions with great interest and will be making our final suggestions in due course. John and Insight... While you are in the middle of planning, could you let us know ASAP about when the tour will occur? Some of us also plan for events (conventions, tours, visiting relatives, etc.) many months ahead, so it would be nice to know your time frame for the special tour. Cat's, I would not be at all surprised if we did not know until around August.
If I remember correctly it was around the end of August that the tour, date and pricing came out for the last BB tour and I would imagine that for the next couple of months Insight will be concentrating on getting all of their tours organised for the new 2010 Brochures etc which will probably come out around October. |
