Do we have any more takers for the 2010 Bulletin Board “Presidents Tour of the Balkans”?

20 of us booked so far for a fun tour experiencing new places and meeting up with so many of our Bulletin Board friends.

As much as we would love to meet those of you we've chatted to over the years I'm afraid that Italy and a European River cruise are still way ahead of what will obviously be a very rewarding trip to the Balkans.

If Insight sell a few seats will they advise you 'as and when' or will they simply post a "Tour Full" sign, what do you think will happen ?

Maybe we could all get a bit fidgety if your number sticks at 20 for too long

Hi Roger

I don’t believe Insight will advise us of any people that have booked that are additional to those that we have posted up on the BB. Remember there were 2 extra last year that we didn’t know about until we all met up in Frankfurt.

At this stage I am not too concerned and it is far too early to be worried because some people cannot get their holiday leave confirmed until early next year.

Also, when we had only 20 registered with Insight for the 2008 BB tour I had the pleasure of meeting John Boulding and I raised with him my concerns at that time that the BB tour may not go ahead because of the low numbers. He advised me that the 2008 BB tour would go ahead even if we only had the current 20 which was fantastic news (although in the end we finished up with about 28). While I must stress that I know of no such commitment for the 2010 BB tour, I would hope that if the numbers were reasonably close to the required 25 then the tour will go ahead.

At this point in time we have 20 that are signed up for the 2010 tour and I know of 3 others that are hoping to go but will not be able to make a commitment until around February. That would give us 23. So we are getting pretty close.

And we still haven’t heard from:

I guess we just have to wait and see. From my point of view we are thinking positive and have already booked and paid for the airfares, stoppovers, etc.
