However we appreciate that many of you are keen to start planning your travel arrangements; so we will publish the prices we have so far. (see below)

Hi John, the Canadian price looks too good to be true, can you confirm that this is not a typo?

The Canadian price is correct.

All prices quoted are per person land only.

Roger - The UK prices will also be for the tour land only.

John...

I think the Insight rates relative to the USA price and the other rates are not correct.

We will not do the tour.

John, the single supplement seems a little high for Canadians, compared to the US price. The trip itself compared to the US price is very reasonable.

Marie, I believe you may be right. The single supplement for this tour, as I see it, ought to be the same percentage of the twin share land price, irrespective of the country and currency. The information provided by John indicates:

Asia/USA
Twin share land price: $US3,079 per person
Single supplement: $US755 [24.5% of twin share land price]

Australia
Twin share land price: $A3,542 per person
Single supplement: $A947 [26.7% of twin share land price]

Canada
Twin share land price: $C3,121 per person
Single supplement: $C833 [26.7% of twin share land price]

My calculation indicates that the Asia/USA single supplement should be approximately $US822, unless, of course, the error is in the Canadian and Australian single supplement calculations?

Otherwise, the twin share land prices don't look too bad for a 17 day tour in that part of Europe.

phil

Hey Phil...I'm a US single...so keep your calculations to yourself....hahahaha Hopefully the others are high and will be adjusted to match the US.
Cats..I know the dollar continues to take a beating, but I hope that will not keep you from doing something you obviously enjoy.

Happy Trails!!

Hi John,

I think Insight should take another look at the rates and correct their prices for the tour.
