Hi folks

For those of us planning to take the Hydrofoil from Budapest to Vienna at the completion of the BB tour I have some rather sad news.

Unless things change by next year, this will no longer be a viable option for us.

As things currently stand, the Hydrofoil service operates from May to September and with the President's Tour finishing in Budapest on 3 October we fall just outside the Hydrofoil dates of operation.

Good news for those people interested in taking the hydrofoil at the conclusion of the BB tour.

I have this evening received a reply to my email to Budapest-Vienna Hydrofoil and I am pleased to inform everyone that it looks as if the Hydrofoil service will now be available in 2010. In fact based on their email response it appears that the last run of the season from Budapest to Vienna will be on Saturday 2 October 2010 which will be the day that the BB tour concludes in Budapest.

Their reply states as follows:

"Thank you for your e-mail.

We hereby send you the timetable of the hydrofoil for 2010:

May 01-July 01, 2010
from Budapest to Vienna: on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
from Vienna to Budapest: on Wednesday, Friday, Sunday

August 01-29, 2010
from Budapest to Vienna: every day
from Vienna to Budapest: every day

August 31-October 03, 2010
from Budapest to Vienna: on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
from Vienna to Budapest: on Wednesday, Friday, Sunday

Ticket rate:
89.00 EUR / Person
109.00 EUR / Person / round trip"
