I am disappointed. Though I would've preferred the Italian tour, I was prepared to consider Phil's 19-day Balkans option. As it stands, a 12 day tour is too short for my liking. (I would do longer than 12 day tours in Australia, let alone after flying for 20+ hours!
 ) I am not interested in spending 5 days at a resort.So, whereas I was a considering 'maybe', I am now a definite 'No'. Jeanie And the sun is shining, This road keeps winding ... I'm alive and I'm free: Who wouldn't wanna be me? (Monty Powell/Keith Urban) |

Well we are not interested in having five days in a resort. Nor are we interested in getting all those Visas for a miserable 12 days and having to find another tour to justify the air fares.
Back to the drawing board I guess and to the cruise companies. When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable. |

I simply cannot believe that I am reading your announcement, it's a cop out. You are dealing with a group of seasoned, repeat booking, Insight travellers who are looking for something different and a little special to boot - did you really believe that anybody is going to get excited about a 12 day tour coupled with umpteen days in Dubrovnik. Whoever came up with this idea does not know their customer base and should look for a new job. We are OUT and extremely disillusioned with Insight. Roger  and Angela |

I am extremely disappointed. A 12 day tour in August 2010 focused on the Balkans with an optional 5 day extension in a resort? After all the discussion here expressing our preference for a 19 - 20 day tour in September 2010? Thanks, but no thanks. I'll be looking elsewhere for travel opportunities for September 2010.......

I have not written in 11 months but wanted to express my sympathy to all of you. I have followed the discussion and enjoyed your enthusiasm. What a blow to a lot of hopes!

Thanks to all for the candid feedback. As mentioned, these are just ideas in fact were based on a review by our special tours team of comments and reviewing the poll. Nothing has been set just yet so very happy to take on board latest comments! Our special groups team will look at the 19 day itinerary proposed by "Dragon" as it seems to be what most members want? If that is the case then it is most certainly worth to attempting to build it. We will also move the departure to September 2010 as that is the month that is suitable for most members based on comments rather than poll. As promised, more information will be available shortly.

This tour would be out for me as well. I can't travel in August next year and even though I wanted a shorter tour I would have suffered through a longer one.
