Hi,
My husband and I joined the Italian Escapade Tour (tour reference 937)from 6 May to 18 May 09. Our tour director was Ruth. I am writing because we were charged twice for the same optional tour. We joined the optional tour at Sorrento (Amalfi Coast Drive and Positano) for 2 persons at total of 72 euros. We gave our credit card details to Ruth for the payment. We were subsequently told by Ruth that the credit card transaction did not/could not go through and asked if we could pay by cash instead. We thus paid in cash 72 euros for the optional tour. After going bk to Singapore, we just received our credit card bill and found that we were charged for the optional tour. Could someone please assist to investigate the error and contact us on this? You should contact Insight Vacations directly concerning the double billing issue - use the "contact us" link on your regional "insightvacations.com" home page. The bulletin board is maintained by Insight for the use of Insight travellers to share tour experiences but is not used as a direct dialogue with travellers concerning their personal travel. Hope you enjoyed your Italian Escapade experience -- I took this tour in 2005 and had a wonderful time! |

Welcome to the Insight Board! "...charged twice for the same optional tour." I suggest that you contact Insight Vacations as mentioned by our Canadian Tully. I suggest that you contact your credit card company fast to dispute the bills! You may have to also do it in writing. Do not pay until Insight fixes the problem. On the other hand, if your posting (a first posting) is not true, then maybe.... Cat's Inheritance Cat's Inheritance: We will now use it on travel in honor of our late cat, the "Little Guy" Whiskers! |
