Yikes! A very unwelcome visitor. I don't know what I hate most, snakes or spiders. Eeker

I am thinking "Well done everybody".Big Grin

At the end of the day Insight and all of us BBers have done a grand job. The final version of the 2010 tour certainly hits all the right notes for us - in spite of my best idea being dumped.

Thanks also to Dragon & Co for rustling up a few extra travellers to get this show on the road.

We are still in ...... well, unless Tangata is thinking of bringing that darned snake along.

Now safe in the local Zoo.

What type of snake is it Tangata and is it deadly? Lovely pattern.

Pauline,

It is not strictly a snake, it is a python.

I would estimate this one as being between 3 and 4 metres long. The colouring is similar to a cobra, but thankfully cobras don't grow that big!

As they come in pairs there is probably another one around. We suspect this one came from an area that was overgrown but is now being developed.

Not really a problem to humans, it could give the dogs a bad time - our two retreated indoors!

Been away for a few days.
Whilst away, had no real internet connection but was aware that something had been posted about our trip next year. When I finally got a "lifeline", was very pleasantly surprised and happy to see John's post setting out that marvellous trip. The slight modifications do not alter our intentions at all. Bring it on. Regards all, Jim Smiler

It sure does!

We were going to go with Insight on another tour in September, 2010 (not yet reserved), but we will have to go on that one early in 2010 if we go on the BB tour in September.

This is Insight's time to add a great new tour for the future, after "we" (the Insighters who do it) have done it! They must add new tours and update old tours to attract more travelers or travellers (extra L for the British and the Aussies and the Kiwis, etc.).

Cat's

Cat's Inheritance: We will now use it on travel in honor of our late cat, the "Little Guy" Whiskers!

You seem to have more creepy crawlies in your own back yard than I do ...I only have a friendly blue tongue which lives under the hot water cylinder out side and a some red back spiders haven't seen any snakes Eeker

Budapest sightseeing, accommodation and the hydrofoil can be arranged if we get sufficient interest.

John,we have not been to Budapest and one of the many reasons we want to visit this part of the world is to see Hungary's capitol. We will definately want to spend some time there so accomodation, sightseeing and hydrofoil(to Vienna) would be on our agenda.

My wife has always wanted to visit Prague and Cesky Krumlov and we will probably tag this extra on somehow-wether,before or after remains to be seen. Any suggestions? Jim Smiler
