Hi
I today I brought a Toshiba Gigabeat 30gb to storage our photos while on holiday. This model holds about 12000 photos plus music. Wasnt to badly priced and all the relivent cables needed to transfer from camera came with it.
Cheers Barbara

Thanks for the info. I priced it out in Canada and it is much less expensive to go with an iPod 80gb unit and purchase the required camera adapter.

If I didn't need a new MP3 player I would just stay with memory cards. However, I'm serious thinking of going this route.

Of course, as soon as we have purchased these items new ones will come out, much more advanced and less expensive. I think that's a rule... Wink

Hi, we purchased a Sony photo storage vault around $400AU a few years back, we just take 8cm discs with us & download the memory card each night, direct from card to unit.
When we come home we have 5-6 discs to download onto the computer or to have photos printed for an album, it's so much easier altho' this time we are using gb cards so will hold more.
