Back in July, prior to going on the Country Roads of B,S&A tour, I posted a question as to whether I should retire my old SLR and stick with my Canon Powershot A640 or go for a new digital SLR. I ended up doing what several people suggested - staying with my A640 (set at the highest setting) and took a small tripod (best thing I ever did). I am very, very happy with the results. The money saved will go toward my next tour in 2008 (Best of Italy).
