This may sound like a silly questions but what is a photobar? How much does it cost and where can I get one.

I have a question for all...

My daughter wants to bring her Ipod "Shuffle" She usually charges it on the computer...it plugs into the front USB port. How can we charge the Shuffle while in Italy?

I brought along my portable recharger for my Dell DJ as well as the recharger for my digital camera batteries. As long as you bring along a voltage converter (not outlet adapter) you should be fine.

A couple of hotels offered a 110V outlet in the bathroom.

Hiya Sandy!

You can get a USB Power Adapter for the iPod Shuffle and use it in conjunction with the proper travel adapter for whichever countries you visit. This way you won't have to carry a laptop, search for cafés and then wait around waiting for it to charge.

I can understand your daughter - there's no way I'm leaving home without MY iPod!!

Ciao!

I'm getting the impression that Morgana wants to be Apple's official spokesperson for their iPod product line.

Hiya Pat!

You're just jealous because I beat you at this particular "techno" game!!

I guess it must be hard for you to admit that you've been outsmarted in the IT department ... specially since you are a techno geek! lol

No worries though - I'll let you take the lead next time!

And since I'm such a good sport - I won't even make you admit that I was right when I advised you on getting your adorable little iPod!!

Big Grin

These sound quite handy, who retails them and could they go by another name. I have been unable to get any info.

You can transfer photos from the memory card of your digital camera to an iPod Photo with the iPod Camera Connector accessory. This is very handy for travelling as you don't need a notebook PC. Other options can be found in the following post:

Apacer CP200 CD Writer

That post is 6 months old ... so I'll imagine there are even newer gadgets on the market that'll allow you to transfer your digitial phots to some alternative media.

I purchased my Fotobar (sorry wrong spelling before) from our local Camera House in Sydney. The cost was around the $450 last year. It is very simple to use and I am now using it to view my pics from the trip without hogging the computer, much to my childrens delight. Well worth having a look at and considering.
