Hi, I have uploaded a bunch of photos of the Oct 3/22 Romantic European tour. Sorry, no descriptions against them all yet. I hope to get around to that over the Christmas break.

I was traveling with my sister and parents. We had a great time. I have presented each day on a different page.

Any tour members from Oct 3/22 pls email me if you want full size copies of anything for printing etc.

Cheers,
Gavin.....

Thanks Gavin for the great photos. They brought back memories as I was on the RE the end of August.
It is a great tour and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.
Thanks again and good travels
John

Great work Gav.

Your photos will fill in many gaps from my collection of 900 (after the first cull). I am also about a third of the way through cataloging and commenting my photos from the trip, I hope to complete the task over Christmas.

I am particularly impressed with your night time/low light shots... very clear.

Ahh... so many good memories.

Regards,

Robert

Hi Gavin, Great photos. Brought back some memories. My wife and I did this tour in September 2001.

Yes, I used a Nikon D70 Digital SLR. It really is the only way to get any decent night shots handheld, as these all were. Most of them are shot at ISO 1600 equivalent. I hope to clean some of them up a bit with noise reduction software when I have time, these are just resized to 800x600 at the moment.

I simply did not have time or space to deploy the light weight tripod I lugged through Europe for those 20 days!! Oh well you live and learn.

Cheers,
Gavin.....

Hi Robert, didn't quite pick up on who you were when responding to your message first time around. It really was a nice tour. Hope Liz and yourself are well. I am uploading Kris's photos now. Should be up after this weekend 18/19 Dec. I will post a link when they are online.

Cheers,
Gavin....

No, I did not have the time to set it up. These are all hand held.
