Hi. Just wondering if I really need to take 2 cameras with me. I've read a bit where there are additional charges for video cameras and some places where the are not allowed. I really don't want to be carrying 2 cameras if they are not necessary. I also do not want to spend all my time seeing Egypt from behind the camera but also do not want to miss anything that one camera over the other would be invaluable for memories.
Any recommendations? Are both needed? Thanks! |

Hi. Just wondering if I really need to take 2 cameras with me. Hi 5 cats 'Cats' origionally came from Egypt I believe. Egypt can be considered to be the ' land of forms, passes and visas '. So sooner rather than later there will be a sign that advises that 'Photography is forbidden'. No problem, you can now buy a 'photo pass' or bribe the guard to take your pic. Take an extra pile of US$1 bills. One digi-still-camera for me would be ideal. |

When we visited Egypt I had a video camera which could also take reasonably high quality stills.
We are now very pleased that we had both. When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable. |
