I'm hoping one of you clever technical whizzes may be able to tell me if there is a software program or something like that which enables you to copy old printed photos onto a disc on your computer or an easier less bulky way to store them. Thank you

There are lots of software programs that will enable you to scan old photos and save them to disk. Most scanners will come with that software. I have scanned a lot of old family photos and am saving them on CDs.

They call it a scanner.

They cost about $100 in Oz. Check Myer, Tandy, Teds etc etc. Very common.

Thanks Tullygirl and John. I never even knew that I had a scanner in my all-in-one printer. I found just with the Windows XP and a packet of CD romsI've been able to put a lot of the old photos on disc and free up some closet space. Now all I need to do is learn how to type.....
