Hi! We are going on the Grand Tour of Scandinavia that you did two years ago. Can you tell me what currencies were accepted in Denmark, Sweden and Norway? I know they each have their own currencies, but wondered if they accept each others, or accept euros. Thank you.

The Grand Tour of Scandinavia is a great tour - you'll have a great time.

From my experience, other currencies weren't accepted. (I must admit, though, I didn't try.) I purchased some Danish Krone and Euros before I left, and our Tour Director, Karen, was very good at telling us about opportunities to exchange currency, and the location of ATMs.

For example, I got my Swedish Krone on the ferry from Denmark to Sweden.

We took the shorter Scenic Scandinavia tour 4 years ago and I think only local currency is accepted. I got rid of my last Danish krone on the ferry, bought some candy and had coffee and Danish. I don't know if you take the ferry to Sweden or the bridge.
I had brought some of all the currencies with me, but I would advise you to use an ATM, maybe only bringing some Danish Krone for the start.
