Hi Old Bob,
I'm sure you will see rain in Ireland ! I understand your point though. I visited your country last year & the first thing I noticed on arriving home was how green it is. And yes it does make the place seem fresher......less dust etc. Other thing here too is that when we get sunshine we really make the most of it. It's the novelty of it ! Hope you enjoy your visit to this part of the world. Brigid |

Hi Shazzie,
Just returned from the supersaver Britain and Ireland. We had a wonderful time. Do the optionals if you can. the jaunting car ride was great fun. All the dinners were very good and the tour of Blair Castle was wonderful. If you tend to get motion sick, make sure you take some on the ferry crossings to and from Ireland. They were rough. Ireland and Scotland were very cool in July, so make sure you take some warm things. Hope you have as much fun as we did. Our tour director was Derek Whiffin and he was super! |

We are doing the 22 day England and Ireland trip starting August 24 and after reading all your comments, I can't wait. Are there any other VTs doing the same trip. Sue
