I visited Lucerne for the second time, and with my previous Insight tour I had been to Pilatus, which I enjoyed but unfortunately the view was obscured by clouds.
This time on my Trafalgar tour I organised an independent trip to Engleberg and Titlis in place of the included mountain trip. It was the most awesome thing I did on my tour as the views from Mt Titlis (at 10,000 ft) are incredible and the mountain has permanent snow on it and a glacier too. The tour left at 12pm and returned at about 6pm, it left from the railway station in Lucerne and returned to here. I would visit Mt Titlis again if I ever returned a third time  |
