Hi Dragon,
Interested on your opinion of Scenic tours. We have travelled on both Trafalgar and Insight and prefer Insight, mainly because of the smaller number. We are thinking of going to South America 2010, where Insight do not go and was wondering if you thought Scenic was good value. It's always good to get first had advice.  Jac |

As this is an Insight Bulletin Board it is not really appropriate that we discuss Insight's competitors here and to do so may incur the wrath of the moderator. On that basis, and because Insight do not run tours to South America, I can merely say that Scenic are an excellent touring company but they can be quite expensive. They do offer extras such as free choice options in many cities and this of course adds to the overall costs. I suggest that you have a look on their website for detailed information on what they offer for South America. Sorry I can't be more helpful on this forum and apologies to the moderator for these few comments. |

It was only that Insight do not run tours in this region that I asked about another tour company. So thanks again for the input. |

We have travelled a couple of times with ****** in the US, and whilst they provided a good quality service, they do not compare to the quality we have experienced with Insight.......the larger buses, smaller groups, quality of side trips, and the well versed and informative guides and tour directors are what set Insight streets ahead..

Dragon 28 Tours - what a lucky one you are. I can't wait until I take off again.
I have only been on one tour (so far) and it was with insight. I did alot of research on all the travel companies and asked many questions. Insight always won over the rest. Insight were wonderful on our tour. The hotels, except one were close to the action and all were of a high standard. I would never hesitate to use Insight again.
