My friends and I returned from "HIGHLIGHTS OF EASTERN EUROPE" recently and I feel that you have given us one (if not the one)of your best tour directors. Our tour director was ROMAN KOPFER from Austria. He was very professional, organized and knowledgeable about each country that we went into.I hope we can retain some of those informations that he has shared with us. He even gave us maps and tips on how to get to some great places on our free time. Overall, we agreed that he is excellent. He made all of us feel important. Congratulations INSIGHT for hiring such an outstanding individual.

Bluebonnet ... I totally agree with you. I took Highlights of Eastern Europe in 2004, and Mr. Kopfer was OUTSTANDING!!!

We just did the Grand Tour of Italy and Sicily with Stephanie Jordan as our tour director. She's British but lives in Italy and she was superb. We learned so much from her and you could really tell she loves Italy. I think Insight just hires the very best tour directors and I would go on any tour again with Stephanie. Our driver, Osvaldo, was also wonderful. He got our bus into places that I couldn't believe and I felt very safe with him at the wheel. I'm a school bus driver, so that's saying something, because I usually don't feel comfortable unless I'm driving.

I believe Roman Kopfer is scheduled for the September 15, 2007 tour. I hope he is not assigned to the reverse itinery tour on the same date.

How do you find out who your tour guide will be on a trip.

NO MORE THAN 10 days before (for sure, others have done earlier and then TG changed I understand), go up to top of the screen, find Contact Us, write a note, and ask.

That's what I did - and got an answer in two days.

If you are leaving weeks ahead, I don't know if it will work.

We've just returned from the European Grandeur where we had the wonderful Chantal Suchard as our tour director. Having been on another tour just before this one (finished 2 days earlier) with C***** and had an abysmal tour director Chantal was not only a refreshing surprise but a stunning improvement.

Chantal Suchard is a wonderful tour director with immense knowledge of Europe. She is professional and a delight to be around. She took the time to get to know her tour group and find out what we were doing the tour for (I wanted to see what was different from home, but my travelling companion was there to learn about history) and then went out of her way to ensure the needs and hopes of the tour group were met.

Chantal went out of her way to ensure her group got the best opportunities, adapted the timing of the itinerary to get us to see things before the bad weather arrived, and adapted optionals to meet the needs of her clients.

Chantal is a wonderful tour director and she is a credit to Insight.

I did a tour of Italy in December 1999 and Stephanie Jordan was my Tour Guide. Would anyone happen to have her email address ... or know how I can get it?

If no one has it, you can send a message through Insight by using the contact us link on thie BB. I send a picture to my tour guide in this way and they e-mailed a reply to me assuring me that they would send it on to her.
Perhaps you can ask her for it directly in this way.
