Hi Gen,
We were in Italy at the end of Sept/beginning of Oct and the sunflowers were gone. It was harvest time for grapes and olives. But as you are hoping, the gelato was spectacular. For those folks who live or visit anywhere near NYC, a gelato business from Milan has come to our area and it is the REAL THING. For a precious few minutes as I savored my treat, I could close my eyes and imagine I was really back in Italy! |
