When do the sunflowers bloom in Tuscany?? I will be there during the beginning of July for the EP Italy tour. Can't wait to take pictures!!

I don't know when they start but we were there in August and I took several pictures of sunflowers in different areas.

We saw plenty of sunflowers during our tour in June.

We were there in late July 2 years ago and saw fields and fields of sunflowers. They were incredible.

Just returned from Italy yesterday ( Frowner SOOO sad)and saw fields of sunflowers in bloom. Many fields not quite ready so you should have a "good show" while you are there. Enjoy your trip

My wife and I will be visiting Tuscany next weekend, and we are very keen to see the fields of sunflowers. Can any of you who have been there recently point us in the direction of the best places to see them!

So if the sunflowers were out in June, it is possible there won't be any in September?

I love Sunflowers, but I can handle it if they are not there in Septmeber, just so long as there is Gelato to make up for my disappointment.
