A few things you can do. I took some laundry powder in a zip lock bag, but ended up running out. On that trip I ended up using the shampoos or shower gels in the hotel rooms to wash out my clothes, they did the trick, and my clothes were fresh and clean all the same.

Nowadays I take along a small amount of liquid detergent to start me off, then buy the smallest bottle whilst on tour and discard whatever is left over, or pass it on to someone else who might be continuing on.

I have three blow up coat hangers and never leave home without them. They are one of the 'best things since sliced bread'!! Clothes (T.shirts, dresses etc.) dry so much quicker using these

..... i never wash my laundry. If i go on a long trip (so far longest is 7days) i will bring 5 sets of clothings... I am not sure how easy it is to dry the clothings. Really know nuts abt it because in my country, its humid and things dont dry out easily.

Now I am going for a 15Days+++ trip and this is something bothering me. I will pack 2 towels instead of the 3 i used to pack for a 7days tour

Doing laundry on tour-I was on the European Heritage Tour for 38 days but we were gone for a total of 6 weeks this summer and it was very hot some days so we were changing our clothes twice a day sometimes. We had no choice but to do laundry. I brought a little bottle of laundry soap and when that ran out, used the hotel shampoo and it worked fine. You HAVE to take the blowup hangars as they keep the front and back of your clothes from touching and will dry so much faster. Also take some thin twine and small clothespins so you can string it in the tub if there is no clothesline (a lot of hotels have them) or the twine comes in handy to string in between two chairs so you can hang things in the room instead of the bathroom as it can get humid. We did underwear on one night stays and other laundry on two night stays otherwise it wouldn't dry. We also used the towel dryers, blow dryers, an iron or the presser thing in the closet to dry things.

Zen, no need to pack any towels at all. All the hotels will have them and as you are travelling in November, the weather will not be particularly warm or humid.
I pack for a week, no matter how long the tour is and wear the clothes, either once, twice or 3 times. I usually travel in either Autumn or Spring. The only laundry I usually do, is to wash the smalls on the first night of a 2 night stay. Sometimes I will launder some of my tops but not very often. And like solittletime & maufr, I agree that blow up hangers are a must to have when laundering tops of any type. Smiler
