Thank you. Then I will take my journal, I'll remove my map of Italy and keep the city maps I printed although they are not very good. I know a lot of people cut out the parts of travel books that pertain to the region they will be in, but despite the weight I think I'm going to take my whole copy of Rick Steves' Italy 2008.

We were given individual city maps in each place we visited. They were the touristy ones but they were detailed and did the trick. They've made great little souvineers too.
