A great decision Crow Eaters, the shuttle is your easiest option. As I also live in Adelaide, Gennevive's description of boarding the plane brought back vivid memories for me too Smiler

Have a great holiday, I will be in London on September 9th and am looking forward to visiting Buckingham Palace, amongst many other sights Smiler

Yes Langers, in the end the decision to use the shuttle was an easy one after all of the posts. After much organising, am looking forward to it now. Yes going to Buck Palace also, after much indecision about where to go. Unfortunately will only be seeing only a small part in the three days that we are there. Just hoping for some nice weather now. Hope you have a great time too, autumn should be a fantastic time of the year.
Thanks again

Thanks Langers for the info about the opera district. I think I'll get a shuttle to the airport too rather than a taxi.

I think we might be on the same tour Crow Eaters - Britain & Ireland Explorer??
See you in London.
Cheers

We'll be at the Thistle from Friday next week! The weather's looking alright for now. Low 20s and teens at night. Dublin's a bit cooler.

No mention of the weather in Edinburgh? Could be a bit damp I see.
