I sit here in southern california, not a bad place to be. I'm listening to Andrea Bocelli and remembering the most perfect holiday i ever took, and it makes me sad because I miss it so much. My idea was I thought I'm going to splurge and enjoy it all to the ultimate. I just wanted to say that my 2009 trip on Best of Italy was so damn perfetto. But I have to add that it wouldn't have been without my lovely Belinda Richardson. She loved and took care of us all for 10 days. She educated us in every place we visited and i came away with a degree in Italian History, ok maybe an exaggeration in the degree dept. but i know sooooooo much more. It almost makes me cry sitting here and recalling it all. I was referred to Insight by a good friend of mine and I am so happy I listened to her praises about your company, albeit a different tour, and that I took the tour.
Belinda was part of my dream holiday and she made it so with all she enlightened us with. Her knowledge of the country and regions and history was fascinating. Her personality kept us going at 6:45 am with her Buon Giorno -(so ok i didnt get the spelling part of the test) first thing in the morning. And helped us to be excited about our new day in Italy. She kept everything so smooth and easy, but exciting. Belinda has this amazing side to her personality that she connects with people. I lost my mum while i was on this trip and her caring for me was so genuine as she grieved with me. I was in Venice but she made me feel that my mum would have loved to see what i was seeing on the Grand Canal. I saw her care for another tourist who had a medical issue, and she made it her top priority with her caring ways. I have told my friends - yes the tour and Insight i s such a great tour company with great hotels and spots to visit, but you just HAVE to go on a Belinda Richardson tour. I want to repeat it next year or some variation of it, only if Belinda is my director though.
She is the bomb. Love her

It's so nice to read your complimentary comments Glenys, I'm sure Belinda will be very happy to know she is appreciated and a valued 'insight' TD. I hope we get someone just as good for the Romantic European 3rd Oct. Cheers from Oz.

I'm very sorry about your loss. That must have made the trip so difficult to carry through with, but I am glad you enjoyed it and took comfort in that.
