Joanne, you can also have your laundry done on the cruise. The cost is about $15 US for all the garments you stuff in a laundry bag. You get it back folded in about 2 days max.

Cheers

Thanks again 'GM', laundry will be welcome after the first week 'on the road'. What I wanted to ask also is about the weather in early June, the internet says around 15oC add the wind chill & hats/gloves/coats sound in order for the whole cruise? We're sitting here in 37oC so it's hard to even think heavy clothes !!!!!! Joanne

In June our weather is variable. It can be sunny, or rainy, and up to 20 C. It will be quite cool in the glacier bays [wind off the glaciers and ice in the bays.] Otherwise, you may need to layer as usual. My usual outfits, almost year round [except July and August] include fleecy sweaters and Gortex jackets.

I would be more concerned about the possibility of rain in Alaska than the cold weather.

You're in for a wonderful holiday in two of the SPECIAL places on this planet...both the Rockies & Alaska are breathtakingly beautiful.

We just returned Sunday from a trip to Oregon. This is a "must see" state and we will return.

I hope you went down the Oregon Coast, Max. It is magnificent. If you didn't, you will have to do that next time.
