Ian y thanks for your input sounds great.I have three concerns :- 1) The weather. Will there be snow amd ice such that our trip is effected 2) The dollar rate of exchange at the time that we travel 3) Will the trip go ahead.

You are going to Waterton which is really beautiful. Yes there could be snow but not likely to affect your trip. Occasionally there are avalanches or more likely mudslides at that time of year. The avalanches are usually earlier.
You will see snow on the mountains and it could be cold and windy, dress in layers. It can also be cold and windy on the cruise, I went in late August on the Inside passage and near the glaciers it was very windy and cold, we wore hats and mitts. |
