Hi Patrick & Morgana

Thank you very much for all your help, Smiler I have booked this flight myself, I am going to speak to Air Canada and find out what is going on although I am quite happy to spend a few extra days in Vancouver if they won't let me stop in Hawaii and the thought of not having to deal with US Customs pleases me.

Cheers
Missie

Missie, spending extra days in Vancouver is a definite plus. There is plenty to do and see.

Cheers

Hi Missie, Max is right. There is plenty to do in Vancouver. Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island, Gas Town, Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge and Totem Park, Grouse Mountain and so on. Have a good trip. Big Grin

The Butchart's Gardens is near Victoria, and is a 1.5 hour ferry ride each way from Vancouver, plus driving time. It is famous, though, if you have the time.

Actually the ferry ride is just under 2 hours each way - i was going to edit my message today, but was too late! It is a beautiful trip through the Gulf Islands, though, and if you are REALLY lucky, you might see an Orca [killer whale] or two. You can tell the native Islanders by the books they have their noses in.

Hi ZGordon

Thank you for your reply, Smiler we are very fortunate here in South Sustralia where I live, we are in the migration path for whales, in July we had over a hundred in the Great Australian bight and many people come to our state to view the Whales.

Cheers
Missie
