Man on the Moon. Couldn't help but answer you with regards to your upcoming Eastern Canadian Cities trip. Being from Ontario I had a peek at the trip itinerary and I was very impressed with what you'll be seeing. I note your hotels are very well situated, especially Ottawa, right next to the Parliament Buildings. Even the hotel in Toronto is right in the downtown area. Niagara Falls, and Niagara-on-the Lake, wow, they are great trips also. Even Old Quebec City, well, I can only say you'll feel like you are in Europe when you are there. Enjoy Canada. Manonthemoon, When are you going on this trip? I anm going on the Best of Eastern Canada & USA in Sept. Will be able to help you out when I come back as it covers the Capitals of Eastern Canada. Whoops!! - looks like you are going in August. Maybe you can tell me aboutit instead.

Hi SQ - I was on this August 30 tour with you - again I looked to find information before I left, but there was so little. However with our tour director Linda, and Ron our driver, we all had a wonderful trip, 31 compatable people. The eastern capitals were stunning, particularly Ottowa and Quebec. Bar Harbor was enchanting (except that our optional cruises were cancelled due to 2 cruise ships arriving and the boats were needed for tenders).
Boston, Philadelphia and Washington were full of history and interest, particularly as our tour was in Washington on September 11, and as an extra Linda took us to the Pentagon memorial park after dinner the evening before,very moving.
The optional dinners were all excellent particularly in Boston - Vinny's 66 and Cheers
(which was one of 3 choices). All up, a wonderful tour - I know the next tour on September 13 were to have both Linda and Ron as TG and driver - you are lucky.

Hi Gwynne! How are you

It was a great trip with a great bunch of people. It was lovely meeting you.

I would definitely go back to some of those places. Fantastic!!!
