Being based in Europe the strength of the Euro has me seriously looking once again at North America as a destination. I have not seen much comment on the Capitals of Eastern Canada & USA tour. It's a 15 day tour ending in New York where I think I would add on a week. Has anyone been on this tour of cities...Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington...New York.
On the face of it it looks really attractive, the visiting of so many major cities in this area looks inviting and I hope very varied.

Hi, I did this tour last year with a different tour company and found it a really enjoyable holiday. Best time to go is in their fall season end September/October, so you can see all the leaves change colour. All the cities you mentioned were great - especially New York. If your tour does Niagara Falls they are really worth seeing. I would definitely add time in New York.

Thinking of going on this tour myself at the end of Sept 08. Also intending to spend extra time in NY, but in my instance will probably be before the tour starts. Will be interested to hear from anyone who can offer advice on this tour.

We did a road trip from Florida in May, 2006. We visited Quebec City, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Milwaukee and Niagara Falls. The trip was outstanding and the hotel rates were very reasonable. Also, there is not much of a crowd in late May and early June.
