September,
We leave 19th evening from Dulles, but likely won't join the 20th evening gathering as we plan to visit friends in the area. We'll come if things change.

Wongjai,
Gotcha! But then you are going to check in at the Arabella on the 21st before the tour begins?

When we know the specific time, then we'll be able to tell you where "we" will be. By that time we might be too rowdy and we'll be out on the curb!

We'll probably come to the Arabella around 9:30 - 10 am and be ready for the Frankfurt tour, which I expect will be from early afternoon after everyone has arrived.

Wongjai,
I suspect a lot of plans are in limbo until we find out what time that tour starts!

Anyone,
Does anybody know if the two missing couples are indeed on the trip? I've checked back and I don't see that they ever responded in any way. Am I wrong?

I'm probably getting confused between screen names and real names, but I have three people on my list that don't appear to be on your list:

Denise & Tom - Pennsylvania, USA is this Topmom? I cannot find any posts for Topmom.

Katie - Washington, USA

The BB must have been down for a while as I couldn't access it for a time either.

Tangata,

Yes, Denise and Tom are "topmom" and she did write that they would be arriving on the 21st.

Katiwa is my friend from the state of Washington USA.

But I can't find the other two couples (any posts from them).

Did you see Pauline's entry?

I'm not sure what to do - we have two important threads going at the same time. Hope everyone is reading both this one AND Pauline's "countdown continues" - especially about our Tour Director.

I'd like to make a suggestion - I'd like to see some photos of where you live (your home, your neighborhood, your family.) Maybe where you work? (Not the inside of the house, especially NOT mine!)

My suggestion is about ONE DOZEN -- not 252! Maybe hard copies or even just on your camera.

Some might say, "I want to leave my life behind and enjoy Germany." Sure, so do I. But I would also like to know a little about my fellow travelers. If this is gorky, it is gorky. It's just an idea!

It is VERY HOT where I live and I do hope I do not send this weather over to Europe!

Note to Tangata --- Wongjai wrote you a message under Hong Kong vs. Singapore!!!

Some folks have good memories and we do believe that Diane and Bill from Canada and Angela and Roger from England are friends. We hope they are reading the BB!

Thanks September, I've replied to Wongjai in my atrocious Cantonese.

A nice thought about the photos. Attached are a couple of teasers, Madam (Poolsuk) so you can recognize us and one of our most famous Wat.

it seems as though I can only attach one photo at a time so here is the second.
