Greetings from HK where I am settling into my second week back in work mode.

Back in Hong Kong already you must have had work waiting for you when you got home.

I have come home to a heap of paperwork and head off tomorrow for a series of meetings so up to date I have only had time for a quick glance at the Bulletin Board and still have to catch up with what everyone is up to.

We have started to cull our photos and have now got them down to just under 2,000 but I haven't even looked at our video yet.

Fond regards to Madam and I will probably be in touch with you in a couple of weeks (when things quieten down a bit for me) to see if you can send me a copy of your cruise diary.

We had a wonderful time driving 1600kms(1000mls) north from LA to Vancouver Washington State. The 8 day stop over in Hawaii on the way home was great also.

This BB tour sounded very successful - is there any chance Insight will have another one in 2009?

Thanks Phil. If you read this John Boulding could you get the wheels in motion as early as possible for 2009? By the time the last tour was decided upon I had already made other plans.

As I recall it was around February 2007 that John Boulding started the ball rolling in respect to the BB Tour which then actually kicked off in August 2008. During this period surveys were conducted by Insight on where we wanted to go, how long we wanted to go for and what time of the year we wanted to go. This was then followed by a draft itinerary which was commented on by members and variations made by Insight to the proposed tour before reaching the final end product.

Based on the necessary time involved in finalising the first BB tour I had interpreted John Boulding’s recent comment to mean that they would start the ball rolling in 2009 but that it would probably be 2010 before the tour itself actually takes place.

Perhaps I am wrong but it would seem to me that a reasonable time frame would be required again if another BB tour was organised.

You're probably right there Dragon. I recall that it was taking so long to finalise that I had to make a decision on another tour in the meantime so I will try and be more patient for the next one!!

I know a lot of BB 'rs are from the southern hemisphere especially Aus & NZ but we northerners would love if Insight did something specifically in the Aus / NZ tour arena.

Geez Galway Bay, I just visited you this year and can't wait to do it again!!!
