Pauline usually starts this "new month count" topic, but I assume she is busy. I hope all are doing well. Some of us have various aches and pains, but I for one am still working on my list and studying my itinerary!

I never did get an answer on when we will meet the TD on the 21st, but that's okay.

Don't want to make a big issue of it, but I never did hear from anyone. If they did NOT want to tell me, I think they could have at least replied and said so.

It's okay. The person I wanted to see isn't going to be in town.



I went to the thrift store and bought some short sleeve shirts today. I bring them, wear them, and leave them various places.

Don't get tooooooo busy!

I don't even know Phil, but I haven't seen an entry from him in a long time. Phil, are you okay?

There is someone asking for info about weather in Germany in September (under Travel Advice.) I don't know how to put links on this page. Phil is a whiz at that. (I just look under Google!)

Hi September,

I'm fine. Thanks for your concern. Much of what I do on this BB goes unnoticed. For example, the Where Are All the Tales? topic needs updating often, whenever someone posts a tour tale. I've also invested a huge number of hours into two weblink topics relating to two tours my wife took in May and I keep adding to these based on her experiences (see: Weblinks - Treasures of Turkey tour and Weblinks for Country Roads of Dalmatia and Adriatic Riviera). I deliberately hold back from answering many questions on this BB to allow others to do so, otherwise people will feel that I am dominating the BB.

Don't ever feel that way Phil!! You, with a few others, have been a great help to new and old BB members. I know BB members(including myself) have benefitted greatly from your help over the years!! regards Jim Smiler

Thanks a bunch! I checked "Travel Advice" and we can all benefit from your links for Sistine!

YEARS AGO a meteorologist here in Ohio told us that the weather here would be in Germany in three weeks. I was young and impressionable (still am!) so I pay attention. It works about 50% of the time!!!! Ha!

So I'll give a weather report about August 4 for the BB trip. I'm sure people will be holding their breath.

September please give us a good weather report on the 4 August could do with it we have sufferd our worst Floods in years, Dampening yet another irish summer.

Hey, I don't have the "gift" of some Irish people (though I have gone by the "fairy tree" on the way to Galway at least twice!) However, if you think back to ALL the rain we have had over here since mid-May, it sort of follows that we have sent it your way.

I will do my VERY best to get us good weather. I've been checking around and the average(s) for Salzburg and Vienna for late August show 73-74F with about 13 days average rain for the month of August.

I love Ireland! Have been there at least 4 times!

Question!

Under "Travel Advice," Sharon and Andre say that they can't get confirmation for a tour because all the Canadian seats have been taken.

Is this really the case? Are countries given so many seats per tour? I didn't know that.
