Reporting in.
Arrived Wednesday night, smoothly and ahead of time, just like our tour.
Have been waking up at 3 am US east coast time, waiting for the "included" breakfast and fully expecting to see September getting her food!!
Thanks everyone, especially Claus and Bernd, for a great time.

Hey, Wongjai!
I would love to be eating the "included breakfast" right now. Today I woke for the first time at 1:30 a.m., then made it to 4:15 a.m. because of gentle rain falling on the roof.

This fixing my own meals and making my bed is not fun!

I checked the "who's going where" and no one is noted for a Vienna etc. tour. Hopefully someone will write something about it when they get back.

Pauline, thanks for noting that Bernd was going along with Claus. I didn't know that bit.

Dear All,
It was our greatest pleasure to have you join Insight on this unique tour. I have followed your thoughts and views throughout with interest and have shared some of the excitement as we finalised the itinerary. Our team in our special tours department who set it all up were diligent in making sure it all went to plan and from comments so far they did a great job! I know Claus and Bernd also hugely enjoyed their experiences with you all.
We are very grateful for your participation in this tour, for your good humour and indeed for your loyalty to Insight.
There is no doubt in my mind that your positive feedback dictates that we should should something similar again in 2009 - perhaps to an entirely different destination.
I'm sure you all have views, so we will watch with interest!
We have a whole array of new and tempting itineraries almost ready for our 2009 product launch (mid-October 2008) so maybe you'll see something there that inspires!
My best wishes and thanks to you all,
Safe travels,
John

You are an interesting NEW MEMBER, John! Welcome to the Bulletin Board.

I don't think I'm in the minority when I say we really enjoyed ALL things -- except the Lindenwirt Rudesheim facility. When I found the roach in my bathroom, I was not the happy traveler.

I personally hope you have not chosen to use this hotel for any 2009-2010 tours.

Thanks for doing the Members Tour for us. We certainly did enjoy Claus and Bernd!

Oh heavens another one! Think of the strain of keeping the "never Late" record!

I'm posting at 5:25 thanks to a touch of Jet lag.

Not one but two job offers waiting when I got home so it looks as though I shall be off to HK before the end of the month.

So true! I just pitty those poor people starting with C+B on Sunday. At least I think it is Sunday.

I'm sure Claus will have the whip out now that he knows what can be achieved!

Oh Val, surely not. You make him sound like a hard task master. Wink
He will just tell every other tour that he does, about the puntuality of the 2008 members tour and hope that they can match our record. Smiler
I'm happy to see that you and Poolsuk managed to arrive home with no diversions. I also made the 'bells ring' at Frankfurt. First time in my travel life that I have been 'patted down'. Full cutlery set, Frankfurt to Singapore. Plastic knife Singapore to Australia. Wink
