Gradually we are arriving home. Not sure if anyone will write a TOUR TALE, but we had a wonderful time. Our greatest accomplishment - no one was ever late and we often departed from a place MINUTES EARLY! Smiler

Good weather, good food, neat to meet the folks we had "met" on the BB.

We are home - after a very busy 2 weeks. Smiler I am pleased to report that Bernd arrived early to pick up transfer group #2 -- AND - it should be no surprise, we left early for the airport! Big Grin

It was a wonderful trip -- and great to finally meet in person all the folks we have been talking to over the past several years.

Thanks to Claus and Bernd for a great time and to Insight for putting this trip together!

We are finally home - arrived at our home in California at 1:00 AM California time - 29 hours after waking up in Rudesheim on our final day. Just a quick thank you for the privilege of your friendship and your company on a most wonderful trip. Couldn't have been better weather or tour director (or coach driver)!

I have a VERY SLOW computer, not wireless. Have spent the last two hours trying to receive some messages. I have no idea if someone has sent photos, but please don't send any to me. This may or may not be the problem, but I'm not getting my mail today.

Good thing we have this board!

The computer finally said "okay, I'll work" - thank goodness.

Patrick, you are the dedicated one! My head is nodding at 6:30 p.m. - but that's midnight at the Lindenwirt! Maybe it's quiet by now Cool This smiley face says "cool" - hmm!

Another one reporting in.
After a wonderful 2 week trip. arrived home just over 12 hours ago to a chilly Canberra. Had a very good nights sleep and the body clock is back to normal. I think I finally have jet-lag beaten. Smiler
Lovely to meet everyone at long last.
Claus & Bernd start another tour together, from Vienna on Sunday.

We got home yesterday but I couldn't face a computer until today!

I "rang the bell" at Frankfurt and got the full security treatment and then went into the Lufthansa lounge where the first thing I picked up was a steel knife. Boarded Qatar airlines and was given a whole cutlery set!

Madam also had a problem with her hand luggage, the though the stein was full!

It was a great trip and a great crowd of people and Claus will never be the same again, as he will now expect everyone to be on the time the whole time!

When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable.
