I was just doing some searching and came upon something interesting.

The Arabella Sheraton Grand/Westin Munich has an announcement that its RESTAURANT will be closed July 27-September 1.

I do believe we have the Beerhall option for the evening, but I wonder about breakfast?

I'm ALWAYS thinking about food!

I believe they have several venues for meals. So I guess we'll be fine.

Hi!!!
Haven't heard from you in a long time!

This is the one in Munich -- I honestly didn't check. Most of those big ones do have several restaurants but I was just shocked (Ha! Ha!) in fear of no breakfast.

Just checked their website again. Sort of confusing because they talk about their recently renovated restaurant!

Hi September,

I have just looked at http://www.starwoodhotels.com/sheraton/property/dining/....html?propertyID=274 and it says "Fine materials, cream-coloured wall panels, and indirect lighting accents are used to create an intimate atmosphere in our recently renovated restaurant, Die Ente vom Lehel."

Maybe they are confused themselves! Whatever, I'm sure we will get breakfast somewhere!

The countdown has begun and I would like to lose 10 pounds (okay, I'll settle for 5) before August 19th - but I don't think it's going to happen! Guess I'll have to pack my fat clothes.haha

Tangata,

Look CLOSELY at the times of the restaurant you mentioned - Die Ente vom Lehel.
Its hours are 6:30 p.m. until midnight. I usually eat breakfast before then! Wink
Maybe we are in the Atrium. Something to look forward to.

(Katinwa and I are friends.)

I didn't notice the p.m.!

It looks as though we are breakfasting in the Atrium then.
