Have just come from my travel agent and we have our transfers. We arrive in Frankfurt on the 20th August at 8.30pm and some one will be there to pick us up. What a surprise! Thank You Insight Smiler

Its going to be great meeting you all on the 21st. 10 more days to go before we fly out.

I have received my travel documents earlier today and found two airport/hotel transfer vouchers included. There are no times documented on the vouchers but that the tour lead will confirm details.

Well, I have already received my docs and no pre tour transfers mentioned, so I guess I won't be sharing a Taxi with you Pat. Big Grin
Does that mean that the helicopter is no longer on offer. Stationary or not?? Smiler Smiler

According to the "human voice" phone call I got and the note that Tupps wrote above, it appears that ALL of us wil be picked up somehow by arrangements from Insight.

I'm going to wait until Monday and phone the California office to see what they know by then.

As the suitcase comes out of the closet, please remember to put in just a few photos of where you live or your family or where you work or whatever you want to share --- IF you want to share.

As Pauline says "10 sleeps to go" for me but some of you are already sleeping!!!

Hi our Future Travellers!

Are we the last to receive any documents?
Our TA told us they would be mailed to her on Monday. We leave on Saturday!
September will have to vouch for us at the airport!

Bill/Diane ... Insight Vacations delivered my documents by courier last week. See if you can obtain the tracking number and courier used for the delivery of the parcel. If so, you can follow your package to see where it is during delivery next week. My documents were delivered by CANPAR. As you are also in Canada, I suspect it will also be CANPAR that will be used to delivery your documents.

Thanks Patrick, the weekend certainly makes things difficult when it comes to this sort of thing. The documents are scheduled to go to our TA and we will just wait it out.
Never had any problems before. Hope this continues!

Hi, Folks,

I need to explain something and preface it by saying I AM NOT SEEKING A PITY PARTY! Smiler

Since December, I have been having a "right foot" problem. After numerous tests, xrays, and finally an MRI, the doctor told me today that I have two stress fractures.

The directions: NO power walking, but GO to Germany and walk as you are able. Ice it when you can find ice. So if you see me lagging behind or not going into a certain castle or such, that's the reason.

Otherwise, I'll be able to enjoy the good food, fellowship, and whatever goes with it.
